In this brief reflection, you will introduce yourself to me and to our intellectual community, and begin the habit of self-reflection that anchors this course.

Writing Prompt

1. Tell me a bit about yourself: your name as you would like it used in class, where you are from, what drew you to Ursinus, and one thing you are hoping to discover this year.

2. CIE is organized around four questions: What should matter to me? How should we live together? How can we understand the world? What will I do? Which of these questions feels most alive to you right now, and why? Describe one experience from your life so far that makes this question feel urgent or personal.
